Description:This was a thirty second campaign commercial run in the late stages of the 1970 campaign for Governor by Jesse Unruh. Unruh was low on funds for most of the campaign, and only ran this commercial due to a late influx of funds. He campaigned against Ronald Reagan for running such advertisements, often critiquing him as being sold like a can of "Right Guard".
In this particular ad, Unruh is linking Governor Reagan to oil and insurance interests while Unruh aligns himself with the People of California.
